What you need to know about HTML 5

You’ll find below everything you need to know about HTML 5

To begin with, we need to have :

– The original creative.
– The click URL (it redirects to the landing page).
– The impression URL (for counting your displays).

– You have to respect IAB definitions about the clickTag method, and the total size of files.
– Each html5 banners must have a main html file typically named “index.html”, and genrally a javascript file, css file, image files.
– The files are inside a ZIP file. The “index.html” must be into the root and the others files are in sub-folders of this ZIP file.
– All resources pathway must be absolute path and not managed via Javascript.
– Relative paths could be accepted only in html file or in css file and must match the subfolders tree of the zip file.

Recommandations if creatives are already hosted by any Analytics :

– All resources must be available remotely (hosted).
– All resources pathway must be absolute path and not managed via Javascript.
– No Javascript code is allowed in the html file directly. Instead, you can make a call to distant Javascript file (Javascript code and/or libraries).
Note : It is ok to have Javascript in the html code of the file, as long as its size does not exceed 1,5ko.
– No iframe code is allowed in the html file.
– The redirection link MUST be in the html file in this part: screeen3
– The URLs in the ad and in the Javascript, must be HTTPS compliant without to be an HTTPS URL.
– No iframe code is allowed in the html code.
